My mowing deck seem to be setting too close to th ground. I have teh hight selector on the deck itself set on the highest setting, but the blades are still cutting too close, in some instances the blades actuall "scalp" the lawn. Please help. |

Look at the tractor from the side. Make sure you are on a flat surface. Is the FRONT of you mower deck much lower than the BACK of the mower deck? If so, adjust the linkage on the BACK of you deck. You will see a threaded rod with a nylock nut. Adjust till the front of the deck is slightly lower than the back. |
