I have a 1980 312-8. From reading others post, I was able to replace my Mule Drive, Pulleys & Belt, by myself. Now I need to know. how to tight'in up the shifter ? It goes into gear but, there is alot of play. \r\n Thanks again my new Wheel Horse Friends. |

Remove the rubber boot and look at the front of the hole in which the shifter is installed. There is a set screw and nut. Loosen the nut, tighten the set screw and re-tighten the nut. Reinstall boot, and drive a victory lap around yard for another job well done. |
