My neighbor threw away a '62 model 33R Lawn Ranger last year. Gas tank seal was gone and would not hold fuel. We got it running with a new seal and some carb work.\r\n\r\nMy 11 year old son has decided it is his tractor and wants to "hot rod" it. \r\n\r\nHis definition is a bigger engine, larger wheels/tires, different paint color and wheelie bars. Also some kind of covers to hide the engine/battery compartment.\r\n\r\nMy definition of his hot rodding is his choice of paint color and some kind of wheelie bars (he loves it when the front wheels come off the ground) which will come off with fasteners. \r\n\r\nI have a 62 vette I have been restoring to factory original (NCRS) for a long time while keeping it drivable so I will keep original except for color which anyone can change later.\r\n\r\nAnyway we are here for advice on how to get by issues.\r\n\r\nthanks, Chris |
