Does the 854 have a two pronged ignition switch? If so, is it essential a kill switch and when you turn it on you start it with a push button? |

No, the 854 has a three prong key-switch and uses wires B, S, and I contacts. There is no starter button as the engine is started via the key-switch.\r\n\r\nThere is a schematic in the Owner's Manual on page 6: http://www.mywheelhorse.com/graphics/file/Tractors/854_176.pdf |

\r\nThanks Mike, I have the 3 prong key-switch but when I ordered a key from my Toro dealer it won't fit and the schematic looked like a two prong and I looked at some pictures of the 854 and one looked like it had a push button starter. So now I can't figure whether I've got the right switch and the wrong key or the right key and the wrong switch. |
