I have a GT-1642 and the shift lever either broke or something more drastic has happened to the transmission. The gearshift just flops back and forth. Anyone have a suggestion as how to procede and what documentation would be best to review? |

Here's the manual. Remove the shifter first and make sure it is installed correctly, and the ball is not broken off the end of it. If neither of those are the issue, remove it from the machine, crack it open and investigate.
