Anyone:\r\n\r\nEvery winter, my 267H with 414 hours has issues with starting that I think is related to the safety interlock system. When I turn the key, it clicks and thats all, Lights come on as usual. \r\n\r\nIt occasionally starts but when we get to the winter months, November - March it acts up. \r\n\r\nI've had the battery and starter tested and they are fine.\r\n\r\nWhen I had the unit running recently, I set the brake and safety mechanism to get off the machine to keep it running while blowing snow and it wants to shut off anyhow. \r\n\r\nAnyone else experience this?

I'm gonna take a shot in the dark..My neighbor has a 244-H that had a similar problem..It turned up to be the seat safety switch. when the foam in the seat is cold and would not let the safety switch in the seat work properly because of the pressure. when weight was applied to the seat it would run fine but when the weight was removed it would spit and sputter because the foam would not return to normal because of the cold.. I hope this makes sense..as stated it's a shot in the dark..MIKE

Thanks Mike, that makes sense.\r\n\r\nI think I can bypass that seat safety element using a jumper to see if that's right.\r\n\r\nIf anyone has a for sure way on how to do that, I would be much obliged. I think I know how but am curious if anyone knows for sure.\r\n\r\nThanks for the feedback. I appreciate it.\r\n\r\nHave a great holiday.
