It is certainly not an RJ-58. An RJ-58 looks like this: \r\n\r\nImage Image\r\n\r\nImage Image\r\n\r\nDoes your machine have a transmission which looks like this?:\r\nImage\r\n\r\nHard to tell from the pictures you provided, but ....\r\n\r\nThe hood and hood stand are definitely from a later model than the '58 or '59, and they and the gull-wing front axle indicate a '60-'61 model.\r\n\r\nLooks to me to be either a 1960 400, 550 (my best guess is the 400) or a 1961 401, 551, or 701 but others will chime in. \r\n\r\nYou may also want to look through the pictures here as well: http://whtractor.15.forumer.com/index.php?showforum=31

Looks to me like a 400, 401, or 550, unless it has the 2 pc rear-end. Then it would be a 551. The 701 Frt axle is flipped, which makes it taller. Too bad the hood is chopped. That would narrow it down a little more.

Also, the foot rests are for a 400 or 550. So, if it has the 3 pc rear-end like the RJ, then it would be one of the two 1960 models. Good luck! Looks like a great project.

It is without a doubt a 1961 401 Suburban.\r\nI was finally able to see the clutch/brake pedal and it is cast iron, not bent strap steel like the 1960 400/550 models.\r\n\r\nA 550 has a different frame and the two-piece Uni-Drive and the 701 is a front-engine tractor.
